“This study shows that therapeutic use of Olive Leaf Extract reduced the tumour volume from 852.2 +-2mm³ in the control group compared to 0.834 +- 24.07mm³ (p<0.005) and 464.56 +- 39mm³ (p<0.005) in groups receiving Olive Leaf Extract with doses of 150 and 225 mg/kg/day, respectively. The final weight of the tumour also decreased meaningfully.”
Olive leaf extract is made from the dark green leaves of the Olive tree (Olea europaea) and contains the active compounds oleuropein, hydroxytyrosol, luteolin, apigenin, rutin, catechin, caffeic acid and elenolic acid. Many scientific studies have shown that Olive leaf extract has a multitude of therapeutic properties including being antimicrobial, anti fungal, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-anthropogenic and antiviral which makes it so beneficial for such a variety of issues. It is also gastroprotective, neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, antinociceptive, reduces cardiovascular risk, lowers blood pressure, helps treat type 2 diabetes, eliminates free radicals, boosts immunity, fights HPV. Made with our own steam distilled water, no alcohol or vegetable glycerines are added.
It is not recommended to take the extract on an empty stomach as it may cause nausea, so take with or after meals. If you are using the extract for sore throats, swill and gargle the extract in your mouth prior to swallowing.
Artemisia Annua L.
Flavonoids from Artemisia annua L. as Antioxidants and Their Potential Synergism with Artemisinin against Malaria and Cancerhttps://www.mdpi.com/1420-3049/15/5/3135/htm
“Artemisinin shows anti-proliferative activities against other parasitic organisms (e.g, Schistosoma spp.) and cancer cells in animals with the same potential to benefit humans.”
Dried leaf Artemisia annua efficacy against non-small cell lung cancerhttps://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/...
“Dried leaf Artemisia inhibited migration of PC9 and A549 cells. In A549 xenografted animals, p.o. AS and Dried leaf Artemisia inhibited relative tumour growth by 40% and 50%, respectively, compared to controls. AS was ineffective at inhibiting PC9-induced tumour growth, but Dried leaf Artemisia inhibited relative tumour growth by ∼50% compared to controls.”
There is clear research that A.A kills cancer cells on its own or especially when bound to iron. A.A reacts with the iron to make free radicals. Cancer cells require a large amount of iron to proliferate. In order to pick up iron they have large numbers of transfirin receptors. Cancer cells are also more susceptible to the cytotoxic effect of the A.A than healthy cells. The research team covalently tagged transfirin to the A.A; the A.A was then picked up in much greater quantities by the cancer cells and large numbers were killed. The conclusion was that transfirin tagged A.A was selectively picked up by cancer cells. Since many cancers are preceded by gut problems leading to frequent, long courses of antibiotics or drugs for recurrent illnesses.
Fennel Seed
Anti-carcinogenic activity of Methanolic Extract of Fennel Seeds (Foeniculum vulgare) against breast, colon, and liver cancer cells.https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Sayed_Bakry/p...
“Therefore the fennel possess potential anticarcinogenic activity. After performing SRB cytotoxicity assay it investigated to determine their ability to cause cell death and it was observed that in all cell lines morphological changes after exposure to various concentrations of the fennel extracts.”
Fennel seeds have a multitude of health benefits. They contain numerous flavonoid anti-oxidants like kaempferol and quercetin. These compounds function as powerful antioxidants by removing harmful free radicals from the body. This offers protection from infections. Fennel seeds also contain vital vitamins including Vitamins A, E, and C as well as many B complex vitamins such as Thiamin, Pyridoxine, Riboflavin and Niacin. Fennel seeds are also a source of minerals like copper, iron, calcium, potassium, manganese, selenium, zinc and magnesium. Theses minerals have many benefits that can help the body, like helping with production of red blood cells, by supporting red blood cell formation, helps to regulate growth and development, helps with sperm generation, helps digestion, nucleic acid synthesis and can assist control of heart rate and blood pressure.
Lemon Balm
Melissa officinalis extract induces apoptosis and inhibits proliferation in colon cancer cells through formation of reactive oxygen specieshttps://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/...
“Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) extract inhibits the proliferation of colon carcinoma cells and induces apoptosis through formation of reactive oxygen species. Taken together, Lemon Balm extract or subfractions thereof could be used for the prevention of colon cancer.”
Antitumoral Effects of Melissa officinalis on Breast Cancer in Vitro and in Vivohttps://www.koreascience.or.kr/article/JAKO201227935975833.pdf
“Effect of Melissa officinalis on human breast cancer cells in vitro These results show that MO induces a significant reduction in the viability of MCF-7, MDA-MB-468, MDA-MB-231 cells in a dose-dependent manner (Figure 1). Crude extracts of MO showed cytotoxicity to three cancer cell lines with IC50 values 18±2.0 μg/mL, 17±1.4”
Lemon balm has been used as far back as the Middle Ages to help with health conditions such as stress and anxiety, to help promote sleep, helps improve appetite and can ease pain and discomfort from indigestion. Lemon balm also has anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties and is even a good topical treatment of herpetic infections (cold sores) and a potent remedy for the treatment of viral infections as influenza viruses have started to develop resistance to the current antivirals widely available.
Ashwagandha
Selective Killing of Cancer Cells by Ashwagandha Leaf Extract and Its Component Withanone Involves ROS Signallinghttps://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.13...
“Ashwagandha leaf extract and Withanone cause selective killing of cancer cells by induction of ROS-signalling and hence are potential reagents that could be recruited for ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species)-mediated cancer chemotherapy.”
Selective Killing of Cancer Cells by Leaf Extract of Ashwagandha: Identification of a Tumour-Inhibitory Factor and the First Molecular Insights to Its Effecthttps://clincancerres.aacrjournals.org/content/13/...
“We provide the first molecular evidence that the leaf extract of ashwagandha selectively kills tumour cells and, thus, is a natural source for safe anticancer medicine.”
This powerful herb can lower the levels of the stress hormone cortisol and consequentially inflammation in the body. Ashwagandha is from traditional Ayurvedic medicine and can be used after surgery to boost the immune system. There is also muchincreasing evidence that Ashwagandha can balance thyroid activity, menopausal changes and even reverse early stages of Alzheimer's. Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb which means that it can help the body to adapt, adjust and recalibrate itself depending on our emotional and physical surroundings bringing the body into a normal state of homoeostasis and health.
All dosed at 30ml twice daily with food. All can be added to the same glass
Why decoctions?
Of the three main extraction methods used to produce herbal remedies, decoctions are simply the best. Macerations use solvents which may leave harmful residues in the end product, tinctures contain alcohol which is a systemic poison. Decoctions extract mineral salts and bitter principles through simmering herbs in our own distilled water for a prolonged period. The entire process takes 15 hours, is labour intensive so not conducive to mass production which is why herbal decoctions are uncommon on line. They contain far higher levels of active ingredients, no alcohol and can be made from hard plant parts unlike infusions. Our decoctions are made in small batches from organic ingredients by our fully qualified herbalist. They are also a superior form of supplementation than tablets or capsules, as most have artificially made ingredients, contain filers, flowing agents, excipients binding agents and preservatives. Also they often contain only one active ingredient neglecting the fact that molecules work synergistically in the body. Our qualified Herbalist uses only our own zero ppm quad filtered distilled water, all equipment used is stainless steel and our decoctions are bottled into steam sterilised UV resistant pharmaceutical grade glass bottles, which obviates the need to use preservatives of any kind. Be very careful not to touch the top of the bottle or the inside of the lid against anything or decant it into any container or jug that has not been steam sterilised unless the decoction is to be consumed immediately.
This is an entirely natural additive and preservative free product, do not contaminate the inside of the bottle or lid with a finger, never return decanted decoction back into the bottle, store in the fridge after opening. Use within 6 weeks of opening
